Bruce Inman, Partner

Bruce Inman is a founding partner of the Inman Law Group, LLP, which is located in Sacramento, California. Mr. Inman's law practice focuses on creating common interest developments and advising community associations. He has assisted clients in creating hundreds of developments, including master planned communities, attached, detached, mixed-use, and commercial planned development and has extensive experience creating a variety of residential and commercial condominium projects. Mr. Inman is the past chair of the California Building Industry Association/Department of Real Estate Council, and a former board member of a regional chapter of the Community Associations Institute. Mr. Inman is a regular featured speaker for the California North Chapter of the Community Associations Institute regarding community association legal issues. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary's College of California, Teaching Credential from California State University Stanislaus, and Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.

Peter Lezak manages the entitlements and City permitting for KB Home's Communications Hill project, a 2000+ unit master plan development in San Jose. In his role as Director of Forward Planning he also supports the processing of DRE public reports and the start-up of Homeowners Associations for new communities. He is an active member of the Bay Area Building Industry Association serving on the Regional Policy Committees for the South and East Bay and has been a member of the BIA's DRE Committee since 2015.
Peter Lezak has worked in the Homebuilding Industry for the past 16 years specializing in land use entitlements, plan and permit processing, and financial analysis. During that time, he has worked for several public and private builders, as well as private equity investors and a real estate investment fund. Prior to his transition to the builder side, Mr. Lezak worked for 11 years as an engineering consultant primarily on residential land development projects.

Her experience in the industry began in 1977 when Jean Bates, (Jean Bates & Associates) Leslie?s mother and pioneer in the Common Interest Development industry, introduced her to the building industry, specifically to homeowners? association management and consulting. After many years as a part-time employee at JBA, following her formal education, and a two-year stint at a Public Relations company representing real estate developers, Leslie joined JBA full-time. At JBA, she was responsible for the design and start-up of many common interest communities in the Bay Area. Chris Neri

Chris Neri is the Assistant Commissioner-Subdivisions for the California Department of Real Estate (DRE). In this role, he manages the Subdivision program statewide, advises the Real Estate Commissioner on subdivision issues and ensures that DRE upholds the statutory mandates of the Subdivided Lands Act and the Vacation Ownership and Timeshare Act. He works closely with the California Building Industry Association (CBIA), the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) and the California Law Revision Commission.
Chris began his career with DRE in January 1989 after graduating from Sacramento State University. He has worked his entire DRE career in the Subdivision program, focusing on complex subdivision, timeshare and homeowner association issues.

Paul's clients are builders and developers of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties and master planned communities. They include equity funds, pension funds, investment advisors, homebuilders and many other types of investors and entrepreneurs. He is well known for representing clients in all aspects of common interest developments, including California Department of Real Estate and regulatory issues, and regularly advises on structuring complex horizontal and vertical subdivision projects. Paul is also a regular speaker on various aspects of real estate law at both State Bar and industry events.
